Scott has been featured on several local and nationwide news and radio stations discussing investigative methods. Our firm has also been involved in many high profile case including the Robert Durst case, Williams federal immigrant smuggling trial, and the Robert Coulson capital murder appeal. SHBA News Scott H. Belshaw & Associates assisted in the Tyrone Williams immigrant smuggling case. Truck driver Tyrone Williams, 32, a Jamaican immigrant from Schenectady, N.Y., was charged with driving a sealed tractor-trailer crammed with more than 74 undocumented immigrants, 19 of whom died. It is one of the largest instances of smuggling fatalities in U.S. history. SHBA is experienced in assisting criminal defense firms by consulting on community supervision cases. Mr. Belshaw is a former probation officer and court liaison officer and have been assiting defense firms for a number of years. We are up to date on all Texas law and court procedures.
